The Process
The way to get started on your next project is to either call or email, and we can get started discussing your ideas, budget and any details. If we have decided that we are a good fit, we then set up an appointment to meet in person at your home so that I can take a look at your project area and get a feel for the room itself. I like to see the area in person, see if anything in the room inspires me for your project, and go over any pictures or magazine pages you may have compiled for ideas. I bring my portfolio and any samples or sketches I think might relate to your project, and we can sit down and go over all the ideas, leaving me to got back to my studio and do some additional research and brainstorming. And if you aren’t sure what you want, don’t worry! That is very common with homeowners, and I am here to help. I do this day in and day out and can help you come up with the ideas.
I will email or call you with a timeline on my progress on the sketches or samples, and then email you the finished sketches and price quote. From there, we can schedule the work if you are satisfied, or we can set up a second appointment to go over the sketches and samples I have done for you in your home. I will do up to 3 revisions on sketches and 1 revision for sample boards before I have to charge a nominal fee for additional supplies and time. Most of the time my clients love the first round, but rest assured that I am here for you throughout the process and will work with you until we figure out the perfect solution.
Once you are happy with the sample or sketch provided, I collect a 50% deposit in order to schedule the work and purchase any supplies for the job. At the completion of the job, I collect the balance. If you have any special circumstances or want to work out some other payment schedule, let me know, I am accommodating as I can be to my clients. As a small business owner, I understand all too well the ebb and flow of finances.
I accept cash and checks, or if you want to use a credit card let me know in advance and I can set that up too. I can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
