10/20/06 "Needing to re-do our family and living rooms, a friend of mine who had worked with Heidi in the past gave my husband and I her number to get some much needed design help. We began working with Heidi, starting with her initial visit to our home to get a sense of what we were trying to accomplish. She was very professional and prepared, taking exact measurements of the rooms and windows, and talking with us at length about what the final product would be. She came back to me with a beautiful presentation, exactly what I was looking for. I never imagined that working with an artist would be so easy, having heard horror stories from friends in the past, and I never would have believed that anyone could execute such an elegant design so quickly and smoothly for us.
Our formal living room is designed to complement the mahogany dining room that is in the same area, and the beautiful painting Heidi did in the room is perfect for the space. Not only does the room have a wonderfully balanced look now, but she was also aware of the existing pieces that blend extremely well with the new look. The ability to do that is very important in my opinion, because I thought I was going to have to start from scratch. Heidi has the ability to make everything work, which is due to her attention to the clients needs, the layout of the room and its possibilities, and her creative flair.
Our family room has the casual yet refined look that I was hoping for, and it is very practical for my family. The look is always very well put together, but so inviting and comfortable for us. Heidi also got me to update the look of the room, mixing wood tones with distressed, painted finishes, which are also very helpful in keeping the room looking good, as I have three children and two golden retrievers, the scuff marks and inevitable messes are camouflaged.
I feel very lucky to have worked with Heidi, she is a very talented designer, and above that, she really cares about the service she provides for people. I never got the feeling that she was in it for the sale…she really cares about design and artistic elements, along with making things work for real people in the real world. I have recommended her highly in the past, and I will continue to do so in the future.

"My husband and I have worked with Heidi over the years on several projects and we have always loved everything she has done for us. She has worked for us in three different houses, and never fails to capture what we want.
Originally we hired Heidi to paint a mural in our first daughter's room, which she did beautifully. She also helped us with some minor design issues in the main house. From there, we had her do our second daughter's room when she was born, and when we moved she did both girls rooms again. Heidi has done some faux work in the dining room, and helped us lay out all of the floor plans for the new house.
